The 2011 edition of Best Buddhist writing is out now and it features an excerpt from Dharma Road. I've enjoyed reading this collection over the years and I am truly honored to have my writing included. Thanks to Melvin McLeod and the editors of Shambhala Sun.

The political piece "Creepy Uncle Is Watching You" appears in the print magazine Children, Churches and Daddies. You can review it by clicking my name from a list on their site. ""West Texas Job Search" is a madcap romp that ran in the sadly departed Ligature Marks". Thanks, Iron Dave. "Alaska" is not about Alaska. It appears in Amarillo Bay. Three stories ran in the outstanding crime zine Darkest Before the Dawn. Check out "Fire Sale," "A Night at the Hardass" and "Reunion Day." "Workday" is not so recent. It appeared last spring in the short-lived zine, Crooked, and didn't receive much exposure at the time. "Mackler's Last Fare," a story about an Austin cabdriver, appears in a recent edition of the print zine Swill. That's right, Swill. Copies are available at the website, here.
